I showed my readers what my positions were yesterday at the close. You knew when I got into my GDX call trade for today before it happened. You also saw my last two JNUG trades and where I expected the market to go before the move happened from last Friday and where I got out. That is why this site is a paid site.

I took my site private to be read only by those who really wanted to read it. We all want things for free, but it is really too much work for me to post winning trades for free. At one point I thought perhaps I will not post anymore, but some people at a recent conference I attended encouraged me to continue to post. It is also in my nature to write. My only compromise in continuing to post was to ask for a small fee.

I do not want the whole world to know what trades I have while they are still open and exposed. This blog is primarily a stepping stone for me to ultimately trade at a hedge fund. When the time comes that I move onto trading for a fund, then all my trades will become completely 100% private.

I write this blog because it is in my nature to write for an audience. There are some traders who are happy to make a small fortune in private. I thought I would try doing that and that option is still open to me. But I was a journalist in a prior life. I enjoy writing and I like writing for an audience. And I hope that while I continue to write publicly that this blog helps people.
