Eurozone stocks

1:20 pm PST. I saw nearly 1 million shares block traded on EZU, the eurozone stocks etf, at 40.78 & 41.09. It could have been someone buying at 40.78 or selling at 41.09, or buying at both, or taking profits at both. We closed above both prints.

Closing Thoughts

1:05 pm PST. The Euro closed strong along with European stocks. I am not sure the Euro will tank, but it does look overbought and has gone up on negative divergence. The Dollar closed weak on positive divergence. U.S. indices closed strong. They look good for Monday. DB looks like it also wants to pop higher on Monday.

The Dow

8:57 am PST. The Dow is just in a tight 43-point range this morning. It’s coiling with traders looking forward to the French elections this Sunday to move markets. The close today will have clues…perhaps.

Closing Thoughts

1:03 am PST. I mostly just sat back and did other things after the open this morning. Mostly watching the FXE right now for a short set-up. Prices popped their head up above the upper-channel line, but my wave count shows this is getting overbought and becoming ripe for an interim top. I want to see how the price action does tomorrow and if I see any dark pool action too.

The Dollar

9:13 am PST. If UUP breaks down from this channel, that is going to be massively bearish for the dollar, and very weird given gold’s price pattern. This will not be a bull flag anymore should UUP breakdown. FXE looks as though it is breaking out now.
